It gives me immense pleasure to lead Department of Chemistry, Annai Hajira Women’s College, Melapalayam. The department is located in the second floor with state-of-art facilities and highly dedicated and qualified faculty members. The department works with exceptional team spirit and perpetual commitment to our students serving them to learn, cultivate, build up and achieve their goals. The department strives to proffer a conductive environment for the students to develop analytical and practical skills by arranging association meets, industrial visits, field trips, Internship in the esteemed institutes, and to apply them to the current scenario. We offer effective online and physical classroom teaching with group discussion, flipped classroom, seminars, gamification, mind mapping, quizzes, etc.
Our faculty not only makes the students au fait but also make ourselves up-to-date by completing Swayam NPTEL courses, attending workshops, seminars, conferences and faculty development programmes. To amalgamate with the distinctiveness of our college, producing numerous University ranks, being the new department, we also added our frame from the second batch (2019-2022) with 3 University Ranks.
