To develop knowledge in the subject and to create an interest and passion towards Physics, a full-fledged undergraduate Department of Physics was established in the year 2015. The Department is designed to develop the scientific curiosity, an eagerness for lifetime learning among the students and an ability to put their knowledge for creative use. The ‘what’ and the ‘how’ will be understood only if we understand physics. Before the earlier century Physics did not focus on humanity — but nowadays fields like social dynamics, social Thermodynamics, econophysics are cropping up. Theoretical Physicists can go deep and deeper joining hands with the experimental physicists. Better understanding of universe is to a large extent dependent upon “How better understanding do I want?” Theoretical Physicists can go deep and deeper joining hands with the experimental physicists. In the case of physics it certainly tries to explain how the universe, our reality, space and time work. By making sets of laws and theories which let us comprehend the ways things work, the fundamental forces, the nature of matter, the interlaced fabric of space and time. The idea that physics are married to math, come before chemistry and chemistry before biology, when thinking about the sciences. That puts physics in a very important place, many of the technologies we have and will have stem from physics, electricity, engines, wireless connections, energy usage.
